Returns & Exchange Policy

Every DevArt Jewels creation is carefully prepared and presented with the attention to detail that defines our approach to contemporary jewellery.

We want you to feel confident when purchasing from us. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you may request a return in accordance with the terms below and applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Right of Withdrawal

For eligible purchases made online by consumers within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without having to provide a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify DevArt Jewels of your decision before the applicable withdrawal period expires.

This statutory right does not affect any other rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, jewellery must be:

  • unworn and in its original condition
  • free from scratches, damage, alteration or signs of use
  • returned with all original packaging
  • returned with any certificates, authenticity documentation and accessories originally supplied with the creation
  • properly protected during return shipping

Jewellery should only be handled to the extent necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and functioning.

DevArt Jewels reserves the right to assess the condition of returned items before approving a refund. Where the value of a creation has diminished as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it, the applicable deduction permitted by law may be made.

3. Personalised and Made-to-Order Creations

Certain creations may be made specifically for you, personalised, engraved, modified or produced according to your individual specifications.

Because these pieces are created specifically for the client, they may not be eligible for cancellation or return under the statutory right of withdrawal, except where required by applicable law or where the creation is defective or does not conform to the order.

Before placing a personalised or bespoke order, we recommend contacting our team if you would like clarification regarding its return eligibility.

4. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us and provide:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • email address used for the purchase
  • the item you wish to return
  • your reason for return, where applicable

Our team will provide you with the return instructions and, where applicable, the return authorisation required to proceed.

Please do not send jewellery to DevArt Jewels without first contacting us.

5. Return Shipping

Unless otherwise stated by DevArt Jewels or required by applicable law, the cost of returning an item under the right of withdrawal is borne by the customer.

For defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, please contact us before arranging a return. In such cases, DevArt Jewels will provide appropriate instructions in accordance with applicable law.

We strongly recommend using a fully trackable and insured shipping service when returning jewellery. The customer remains responsible for the item until it has been received by DevArt Jewels.

6. Returns of Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction and the integrity of every DevArt Jewels creation are extremely important to us.

If your jewellery arrives damaged, defective or different from the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the item and its packaging.

We will assess the situation and, where appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

7. Refunds

Once your returned creation has been received and inspected, DevArt Jewels will confirm whether the return has been accepted.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, refunds will be made in accordance with applicable law, including any applicable rules concerning the timing of reimbursement and delivery charges.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, the amount may take additional time to appear in your account.

8. Exchanges

If you require a different size, please contact us before returning your jewellery.

Where the creation and stock availability allow, DevArt Jewels may offer an exchange. Exchanges are subject to the same condition requirements applicable to returned jewellery.

For certain personalised, limited-edition or made-to-order creations, exchanges may not be available.

9. Ring and Bracelet Size

We strongly recommend checking our size guide before completing your purchase.

If you are uncertain about your size, our team will be pleased to assist you before you place your order.

If an item is returned because the wrong size was selected, the return and exchange will be handled according to the applicable return policy.

10. Jewellery That Has Been Worn or Altered

For hygiene, quality-control and authenticity reasons, jewellery that has been worn, altered, resized, engraved, repaired or otherwise modified after delivery may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.

We therefore recommend inspecting your jewellery carefully before wearing it or making any alterations.

11. Original Packaging and Documentation

DevArt Jewels creations are presented in carefully designed packaging that forms part of the overall experience.

Please retain:

  • the original jewellery box
  • protective packaging
  • authenticity documentation
  • certificates, where applicable
  • any accompanying cards or accessories

Keeping these items safe also helps preserve the provenance and presentation of your creation.

12. Legal Guarantee

Nothing in this return policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

Where applicable, consumers benefit from the legal guarantee provided by the laws governing their purchase. Within the EU, consumers purchasing goods from a professional seller generally benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are defective or do not conform to the contract.

The legal guarantee is separate from the voluntary right of return described in this policy.

13. International Returns

Customers purchasing from outside the European Union may be subject to different consumer protection rules, customs requirements and import or export procedures.

International customers should contact us before returning an item so that the correct return procedure can be provided.

Any customs duties, taxes or charges arising from an improperly declared return may be the responsibility of the sender.

14. Questions About Your Return?

Our team is available to guide you throughout the return process.

Whether you need assistance with a return, exchange, size, damaged delivery or after-sales service, we invite you to contact us before sending your jewellery back.
